Starcraft 2

SC2With the last two events having an enthusiastic turnout, we are excited to bring the 1 v 1 RTS back to into an eSports scene full of team games. It looks like our sentiments have been echoed throughout the UK community with 11 players already signed up, which is bringing the prize pool up into the higher tiers (up to £2000). FM eSports took home the prize at the last event, and runner up Ourk is already signed up looking for a new challenger in the event FM’s Rotcod doesn’t return.

Counter Strike:Global Offensive

CS:GOThe current version of the classic eSports title Counter Strike has returned for epic.THIRTEEN, and it’s success at previous events has brought a partnership with ESL UK along with AOC and Razer With a minimum prize pool of £1000 up to £4000 some of the UK’s best talent will be attending, in addition to some classic eSports personalities returning alongside relatively new blood for the Casting and Analyst teams!

DotA 2

DotA2While there is a viewing party for The International 4, where the best teams in the world duke it out for an insanely large semi-crowd funded prize pool, we are bringing back the DotA 2 tournament for the home grown UK teams! WIth the prize pool maximum set at £3000 teams are starting to flock in to get the prize triggers hit!

League of Legends

LOLOn the back of epic.TWELVE's highly successful LoL tournament two brilliant sponsors, Tesoro and GT Omega have contributed to the Prize Pool, each giving £1000 which has brought the Minimum pot up to £2000. This is in addition to the standard epic.LAN prize triggers which could see the prize pool extended to up to £5000 if the Maximum number of teams is reached!

Last event saw two top UK teams in Infused and FM eSports in the grand final, and while FM eSports fought their way through the upper bracket conceding a game in each matchup but always taking the series, Team Infused were knocked down into the lower bracket in the first elimination round. Down but not out the team proceeded to smash their way through the lower bracket without losing a single game in each series, but were unfortunately unable to overcome the FM eSports squad finishing in second place.

Hearthstone

HearthstoneFinally, after an impressive turnout for the last minute Hearthstone tournament at epic.TWELVE, we are bringing it back with the help of GAMDIAS who are providing us with a great selection of prizes up for grabs!  From cash and a Mechanical keyboard, to a Gaming Mouse or Headset! With the nature of the game being card based this makes Hearthstone the only tournament where high APM and mechanical skill are not required, it all comes down to planning, strategy and a little luck!
