As part of our Intel Community Timetable, we run and host a challenge which enables the best of the best of the best to shine and lord it over the others… that’s right, the ultimate prize of INTERNET BRAGGING RIGHTS!!!

Once again EPIC43 will have the FINAL SHOWDOWN to decide who take the belt. 

The winners of each fun tournament will automatically go through to the final match (and we're not telling you the game in advance to stop the sweaty tryhards!).The person with the most points from the community games will also be granted a place in the final.

The final showmatch will take place as part of the community party on Saturday evening at 18:30.

Fun Tournaments

The winner of the fun tournaments will still receive the claim of winning that fun tournament and any prizes with it. That person will also get put to the FINAL SHOWMATCH too. Should that person already be in the final match then the person in 2nd place will be offered. Should that person already be in the final match then the person in 3rd place will be offered and so on and so on.

Community Games

The person with the most points from the community games, not fun tournaments, will also go through to the FINAL SHOWMATCH. Points are earned as:

• 1st place -15 points,
• 2nd place – 10 points
• 3rd Place – 7 points
• And finally taking part is worth it - 5 points.

If it’s a team based game, TF2 for example then it’s the person with the most points in the winning team who gets the points

The Joker

Before the start of anycommunity games, not fun tournaments, people can play their joker. Any points won in that game will be doubled! Jokers must be played before the start of the game. Your joker can only be played once during the whole event. 

Pub Quiz

Taking part in the pub quiz and putting your username on the back of your first round sheet will also get you points:

• 1st Place - 15 points
• 2nd Place – 10 points
• 3rd Place – 7 points

Ties

If there is a tie for position the the two tied points will be combined and then split between the two. So a tie for first place would both get 12.5 points, this is half of 1st and 2nd place combined (25 points).

Usernames

If there is any difference between usernames in games based on matching those on the website then points may not be allocated correctly. We ask people to, where possible, make sure their names match. If they don't match please make sure you flag it in the #championship Discord channel. Failure to do so will mean that points may not be allocated correctly.

Everyone who takes part in the community timetable at EPIC43 will earn points towards the raffle draw for an Intel Prize Bundle

Intel Prize Bundle can only be won once by the same entrant in a calendar year. If a previous winner is drawn, we'll draw again. 

Previous Intel Community Champion and Prize Bundle Winners
