Map 2 – de_dust2

However the second match on the old favourite dust2 was certainly worth watching as it was very closely fought and went into double overtime.

The first half saw TLR take an early 4 round lead as CT before their momentum was temporarily slowed by some nice rounds from LiNK. Acky was certainly Mr Reliable in the 8th round taking out PEZ, bash, zed and kritikal. This however was returned by a massacre at B with some well placed defence of the bombsite by LiNK leaving the score at 4-5 to TLR. Rounds were then traded between the two teams and so some nice work by Kritikal and Bash ensured that LiNK managed to come out on top in the first half 8-7.

The second half started similarly to the first with TLR taking an early lead however a good take back of A by LiNK followed by a text book quick defuse whilst TLR were flashed saw the score come to 2-3 to TLR. Keita showed off his awping skills in the subsequent rounds but some good plays from both sides saw the score come to 6-6. With 2 rounds left to play in normal time it was all to play for for TLR however zed took out debaser who was TLR's last man standing which meant the match went to over time with the overall score being 15-15.

Overtime

The first lot of overtime again saw the teams become inseparable and so another round was needed. In the second round LiNK were able to clinch victory over TLR and secure themselves a spot in the upper bracket final with the final score being 25-22.
