News :: LOL: FM Raiders vs MyXMG
With one victory each we head into the Final round in this best of 3 for the upper bracket Final between FM Raiders and MyXMG.
Although XMG’s geobob gets his hands on bobwick once again, it initially looks like FM Raiders have found a way to counter it with a rather uncommon toplane Karma as the early laning give the impression that Karma is going to bully bobwick out of lane completely, until some great communication sends yoloswag420 to the top lane to deal tonnes of damage on gragas while bobwick suppresses karma, giving geobob first blood.
Some skirmishing in the top lane gets assistance from the jungle and midlaners, allowing the Kassadin to make up for some of the CS deficit with a flash riftwalk to pick off a straggling Lanky Dan. bobwick and Lanky Dan go ham in the top lane, flashing between the turrets to take out Tundra, while at the same time FMR send 2 members to help Samwise12 and Akamezz get a kill onto WaWa. FM Raiders see an opportunity to sneak the first dragon of the game 16 minutes in as WaWa had just used his Trueshot Barrage to clear a wave in bot lane, removing the threat of a long range steal.
Lanky Dan arrives in the top lane just as Akilord and Tundra takedown geobob, but after a very close duel unfortunately falls as Tundra escapes on a sliver of health.
FMR try to force an engage in the botlane, XMG retaliate taking down 3 members, and just as it looks with it could be an ace for XMG Samwise and Máyh3M turn it around to demolish 3 members of XMG, leaving the fight as an even 3 for 3. Then in the Dragon pit XMG initiate with an Explosive cask to clear a way to take the dragon before FMR engage with another evenly matched fight. FMR are still ahead in objectives and kills, equating to a 4K gold lead.
Without a real tank in the XMG lineup, FM Raiders lock them down in the jungle picking up a 4 for 1, showing just how much power is in their hands right now.
Leaving XMG with an exposed inhibitor FM Raiders choose to rotate down to the bottom lane to try and take more towers in a siege. With the towers hitpoints rapidly falling XMG force as desperate engage which turns sour as although the exchange is a 3 for 3, FMR pick up a Dragon and a tower from the back of it.
XMG pick another fight in their own jungle but it does not end well as they lose four members without taking down a single member of FMR. As FMR push onto the Nexus a Surrender Vote comes out from XMG, sending FMR to the Grand Final, and XMG to the lower bracket final.
MVP in this round has to go over to Samwise, such a strong showing after the turnaround fight mid game, he was cleaning up every single fight almost single handedly.
