News :: LOL: Grand Final - FMR vs INF
FM Raiders vs Team Infused in the Grand Final. As FMR came throught the upper bracket they begin the best of 5 series with a 1 - 0 advantage.
Round 1
Akilord heads to the bottom lane with his double buffs, sharing the first 2 kills with Samwise in a convincing gank. Infused retaliate 2 vs 2 to lock down and kill Blazin wit 2pac as B1lly counters a gank top converting it into a 1 for 1.Karma once again prices to be a tough matchup for Warwick to handle, with Tundra bullying D4s out of lane time and time again before taking the first tower. B1lly and Akilord both join the Duo lanes for an intense skirmish, with FM Raiders taking the upper hand with a kill and a Dragon. FMR pay a tribute to the style of play that Infused have been using throughout the tournament, rotating around the map to take kills and objectives in the lane, until both teams stack up and engage around the dragon put. Samwise takes 0mega out of the fight before it starts but Infused turn it around with kills onto Tundra and Mayhem, despite this FM Raiders push Infused away from the Dragon to take it before Infused can react.
Both teams send all 5 members to the midlane, but FM Raiders get a pick on B0lt who was trying to ward. Infused desperately engage but without managing with stop Samwise chewing through their health bars and losing 4 for 3. After allowing FMR to take an uncontested dragon, Infused try another engage and lose B0lt and D4s without taking anything in return.
Desperately Infused engage in their own jungle, but FM Raiders are too far ahead for Infused to be able to come out on top in a straight 5 vs 5. FM continue to take objective after objective away from Team Infused, until Infused are forced to engage or just let FMR walk into their base. Unable to make a dent in FMR’s backline Infused lose champion after champion and finally an inhibitor and a 2 man Baron. Team Infused try to hold off the final push, taking down Riven and Thresh, but leaving Caitlyn to tear down the Nexus giving FMR the first Win in the Grand Finals, which added to the 1-0 advantage from progressing via the Upper bracket brings them to 2-0 and only a single victory away from First Place.
MVP - A recurring theme in most FMR games, but Samwise was once again unkilled with his fantastic positioning and all round solid play to tear through the frontline of Infused and continue until the backline is gone.
Score 1-0
