LOL: Lower Final - Team Infused vs MyXMG

Team Infused battle it out in a best of 3 in the lower bracket final for a chance to play FM Raiders in the Grand Final!

Round 1

Both junglers head mid after obtaining double buffs, and a back and forth skirmish results in a double kill and double buffs for Ziggs, and a kill for Lanky Dantheon. Again the junglers mirror each other, Lanky Dan heads for a gank top but Das escapes on a scrap of HP, while In the bottom lane Nutri instigates a tower dive to pick up a kill which leads to a Dragon.
After an explosive early game the pace of the game slows as it transitions to the mid game, Omega and Lady (formerly Sir) B0lt take down the first turret of the game, before a back and forth trade of kills around the lane.
Dantheon Man drops to the mid lane, looking like he is going to be caught but the Wild Growth of the roaming Redmovement saves him after he grabs a cheeky. With so many crucial spells on cooldown Infused see an opportunity to take another dragon uncontested, boosting them to a 5k gold lead as they rotate around the map taking objectives in every lane as a group of 5.
Despite being 7k gold behind MyXMG are still team fighting evenly with Infused trading kill for kill in each skirmish, but are losing the objective game and in turn losing control of the map. Forcing a fight in the midlane with the use of Grand Skyfall, XMG are quickly turned on after taking out Lady (formerly Sir) B0lt. Despite the victory of prising some stacks out of Lady (formerly Sir) B0lt they are unable to shut down the 9/0/3 ziggs who is outputting an overwhelming amount of damage, and has even jumped onto the Mejais Stack wagon himself.
Taking a baron at 20 minutes, Infused return to taking turns in each lane to siege and push down turrets. The stern refusal so use a true tank line is proving to be problematic when playing from behind, as XMG can barely resist a final push from Infused, giving up a game one in this best of 3 series.

MVP for game one has to be Sigris, going legendary with 11 kills and no deaths not to mention abusing the strengths of Ziggs’ AoE damage and zoning potential

Round 2

Mirrored ganks across the map and Vi picks up a kill in the top lane while Lee Sin does the same in the Bottom lane, before rotating mid to successfully gank Zed feeding a kill over to Kassadin, helping to work through the rough early game that is normally expected on a Kassadin.
The aggressive support play coming from B0lt pushes WaWa out of lane very early, allowing Infused to take down the turret 6 minutes into the game! After XMG send 0mega and B0lt to farm the midlane to try and get some cs back onto WaWa, Infused take the chance to engage, picking up another two kills. Infused attempt to play to their strength roam top to push down geobob’s turret, but being a bit too greedy give a kill to the one lane which XMG was already winning. Seeing the error of their ways they initiate a full 5 man gank squad top to pick up kills onto Vi and Gangplank.
XMG surrender, sending Team Infused through to the Grand Final to face FM Raiders.

MVP goes to Lady B1lly for his presence in the midlane which allowed T4lly to start to snowball much earlier than you would expect a Kassadin to!
