Show Descriptions

• Opening Ceremony - Join our hosts as we run through everything happening at EPIC47 and officially kick off the event with the lights-out-countdown. 
• Live Music Performance - Don't move an inch after the opening ceremony as we'll be going straight in to our live music performance with Lucia La Rezza aka. The Nerd Violinist.
• The EPIC.LAN Spelling Bee - Based on the popular US format, with a fill_30 twist, join hosts and community as we put your spelling to the test with a gaming and esports flavour. 
• Gump's Secret Traitor - Watch Gump's best Claudia Winkleman impression as we invite community members to the stage to complete in a series of traitors-style challenges in and around the LAN hall with some silly prizes to be won. You may even get a cape...
• Panel Discussion - Welcoming our education visitors to EPIC.LAN we'll be hosting an expert discussion panel for schools, colleges and universities visiting the event. 
• Staff vs Community - You know how it goes, basically this is where the staff team beats the best that the community has to offer, this time in VALORANT. 
• Crock - Our anti-AI painting challenge. We'll be looking for the community's best mspaint.exe skills to show everyone that we dont need AI tools to come up with the best artwork. This show will involve community submissions for themes sent through before the event. 
• EPIC.LAN Esports Update - Throughout the event we'll be bringing you esports updates from the stage, dropping in to the current live esports matches and giving you a bitesize summary of everything happening so far. 
• Community Championship - Mystery Title - One of our fun tournaments will be playing out on the main stage for you to all enjoy, but the title is a complete mystery to stop you being a sweaty tryhard. 
• Pub Quiz - The biggest real esports tournament at EPIC47. Find out more on our Tournament Site. Note that we have some places available to pre-signup AND places just available on the night. £2 per person to enter, all prize money goes in to the prize pool. 
• Sponsor Segment - To be confirmed soon! 
• Community Game Drop In - We'll be dropping in to check on the community attempts in the Minecraft Dragon Fight to showcase our community timetable to everyone missing out not at the event. 
• Exhibitor Game - The team at Contact Protocol will be bringing a special EPIC.LAN build to EPIC47 to play out on the stage with audience help...or hindrance...you decide. 
• Community Championship Finals - Find out who will be lifting the EPIC.LAN Community Championship belt in our mystery grand finals live on stage.
