Support your UK League of Legends Teams and Organisations!

Everyone who watches competitive League of Legends knows who the big names are, the likes of Fnatic, Team SoloMid, SKT T1, some of whom have a major presence in multiple eSports titles. However aside from 3 Players competing in Europe’s LCS (SK Gamings Freddy122, Supa Hot Crew’s KaSing and Impaler) most viewers here in the UK don’t know much about some of our finest teams.
Here at Epic.Thirteen, in addition to some “mix” teams, some of the best teams that the UK has to offer have arrived to duke it out for the minimum £2000 prize, but just who are they?

Team Infused
As an organisation that has been around for a long time,Team Infused are one of the biggest name teams in the UK. Their current roster was acquired after they beat the previous Infused team at epic.12, having formed mostly at the event as a “mix” team under the myXMG banner. Their third place finish motivated them to see how far they could go under an established organisation, which brings us to epic.13 where they arrive as one of the strongest contenders.

Choke Gaming
A very recent acquisition, the new roster will be looking to prove themselves for the first time under the established Choke Gaming banner. With some veterans who have been playing since Season 1, and played on various teams such as Rasta Gaming and the NUEL’s first season winning team, the individual talent is there. But with such a new roster there are the risks of shot calling and the synergy between players being under developed. With their goal to compete in more UK LAN’s, and the drive to be the best team in the UK all eyes will be on their performance this weekend to live up to the expectations.

Promethium Gaming
A more laid back community who encourage participation in tournaments, while not the most competitive organisation they encourage teams to fly their banner and attend UK LANs in order to gain experience in the setting, in addition to helping grow the UK scene.

London Conspiracy
A new face in the scope of UK League of Legends scene, London Conspiracy are hoping to further make a name for themselves after a decent showing at i51. The organisation formed as a joint venture between Joe Tuley and Perry Smith, who are hoping to use their competitive gaming experience in addition to their managerial skills to create an environment where UK rosters can grow with sponsorships and promotion, in addition to structured training to bring out the best in them.

FM eSports
Finally, last years winners FM eSports are unfortunately unable to attend the epic.13 League of Legends tournament, as they have been invited to TLP Tenerife to represente the UK and  play against some of the top challenger teams in Europe, including Ocelote’s Gamers2! So show them some support at:
