News :: epic30
Since announcing epic30 online, we’ve naturally received loads of questions on how the event will work, so here’s a bit more info, with more to follow over the coming weeks.
We have now processed all ticket requests received for epic30 as instructed. Note that the final batch was processed today and there may be delays at the payment processor's end but all payment requests have been initiated from our side and any further delays are entirely out of our control.
Note that refunds have been processed back to the original payment method unless you specifically instructed us otherwise.
A number of people have not yet responded to the multiple emails/surveys issued, sometimes these may have gone in to junk mail and been missed. If you did not reply back to the survey, please get in touch as soon as possible via our contact form so we have your instructions.
Following on from the recent announcement from the Prime Minister and further clarity from the UK Government on Monday meaning that hospitality venues cannot open until July 4 at the earliest, we’ve taken the difficult and perhaps expected decision to cancel the next physical event and change epic30 into an online format.
BUT, we feel that at these times, it’s important to make sure something still happens over the epic30 weekend (2-5 July) to bring people together through gaming rather than simply cancelling it, so we’re going to be pulling out all the stops to put on as much of an epic.LAN experience as we can with loads of the things you’d normally expect at our events.
