Fun Tournament Results Overview.

So in the social hall we had three Fun Tournaments and they were packed with players all battling it out to win prizes from our sponsors.

F1The F1 2011 Tournament was won by Booti who won an Avermedia Live Gamer HD and hot on his heels was Hodgster who took home a Tt eSports Mouse.

The UT2K4 Tournament was won by someone other than Vardy this time round! So in first place we had GotenXao who won a Tt eSports PC case and in second place was Dae who won an intel external HD.

UT2K4 Fun TournamentThe Beach Volleyball proved to be a popular stand in for the boxing and if you've seen the images on our galleries i think you'll agree it looked like fun! The winner was Antrobus who took home an Avermedia Live Gamer HD and smashing his way to a close second was Adunas who took home a Steel Series mouse.

Fun Tournament F1 2011 FINAL RESULTS!

F1 2011 Fun TournamentAfter 2 days of racing and incidents the F1 2011 at epic.Nine is completed. With Booti and Omega Hunter holding 1st place in the championship it was all to play for. Hodgster sat in 2nd 10 points off.

It was a really close final race with the grid spread. Booti worked his way up from 7th to 3rd Behind Hodgster and Matt 2k34. Omega Hunter had made a bad decision on the set up so could not find pace or balance. The race was a wet one which made it especially hard work to put a fast lap in.

epic.LAN Moves to a New Home

New VenueWe are very excited to announce that we will be moving to a new home ready for epic.TEN and beyond.

On 15th February 2013, the doors will open at the Kettering Conference Centre to welcome the epic.TEN participants.

The team has enjoyed a number of recent successful events at Uttoxeter Racecourse and we have really enjoyed our time here, we would like to thank the team at the Racecourse for supporting us as we have grown. However, there are some size and technical limitations of the venue which caused us to start our search.

Bookings for epic.TEN are now open with a £10 launch discount until the end of September!

Opening Ceremony - Laugh a Minute

epicNINE opening ceremonyThe opening Ceremony at epic.NINE was a bit of a giggle, We had our very own JoeShow reading an excerpt from a very popular novel which when read in his three voices (Sexy, Duke Nukem and DJ) was hilarious.

Next up we had a group of would-be conductors attempting to conduct the Wii orchestra playing the Zelda Theme. With a chance to win a pint from Winbar and a discount off of epic.TEN, competition was tough and in the end with a score of 76 the winner was ddanblack! So well done to him and all the competitors for providing some entertainment at the opening to epic.NINE.

With a countdown from 10 the lights were soon out and it was go go go on what is set to be a great LAN weekend.

epic.NINE - Es Scorchio!

It's a little warm here in Staffordshire as we get ready for epic.NINE. As it's pretty much impossible to air condition a LAN party, the best we can do is try to force plenty of air through the room.

To help that, as we're under-capacity for the event, we're going to allow you to bring small, low-powered desk fans once again. However, we need to limit this to one per table, so you'll need to share with the people next to you.

Obviously we'll monitor the power situation and always reserve the right to say no if they draw too much power.

The temperature levels will also mean that we'll need to keep the main doors open at key times, if you're sitting near to the doors, please be patient with us as while your temperature may be OK, the centres of the rooms may not be!
